Okay, so 2007 hasn’t been our favorite year for movies.  After the free-for-all that was 2006 with Notes on a Scandal, The Queen, The Lives of Others, Little Children, Little Miss Sunshine, Half-Nelson ect. ect.  We can’t get as excited about There Will Be Blood.  And do we think Daniel Day-Lewis is a genius?  Yes.  Do we want to read about him at Hyde?  No.  Even Juno wasn’t our favorite movie ever.  Nevertheless, we still love the Academy, and below are our guesses (not necessarily picks):

  • oh my goodness, have you seen La Vie en Rose? you absolutely must. it’s amazing. and marion cotillard is amazing. i’ll let you borrow it. other than that, i don’t care for the movies this year.

  • who knew daniel day lewis was such a whackjob…what was with the earrings and tux.

  • g-love, nice use of the word “whack-job.” did you see his 80’s footage?

  • love that you refer to yourself as ‘we.’

i will legitimize your ‘we vote for…’ statements. just consider my votes the same as yours.
