We’ll say it. We don’t think she’s pretty. We think her little squirrelly mouth is weird. Not just weird - also kind of scary. And we don’t like her movies. Name one movie Nicole Kidman has been in that is on your favorites list. And Keith Urban? Please. Dear Keith, Are you trying to tell our achy breaky heart something with that haircut? Thanks, Elizabethlaney. Please media, focus on young Hollywood. Bottom Line: Down with the downunder couple.
UPDATE: We love The Hours.

couldn’t agree more. although i am happy that she is having a baby as she seems to have lightened up a bit. I did think she was amazing in “Birth”. The scene in the symphony is amazing.

I will say, we’ve never seen Birth. She’s just a not as pretty Gwyneth Paltrow.

elw, you all at elizabeth laney must rent although don’t watch it with your mother…there a few steamy scenes but they are relevant to the film and not just gratuitous nudity/relations, but awkward nonetheless.

1. i think she’s pretty

Melby:
You are right Cold Mountain is good. However, Nic is still laaaame. Imagine Gwyn in that role, wouldn’t you rather see that?
We at elaney looooove our red headed readers.

wow…cold mountain…that had QUITE the steamy scene. and you do have to be a good actress to pull that off. but then again it was with jude law, so maybe not that difficult.

has she had too much botox? her face is always looks the same. but what about moulin rouge? the others? the interpretor?

fake in all the movies listed here. she, as a person, has always been pretty 1 dimensional, thus, her on-screen characters have been as well. unless, of course, we are judging an actress based on her ability to effectively pull off a steamy scene…

Erin, you’re right. The Others is a greeeat film, and her performance is awesome. However, I hated The Interpretor and Moulin Rouge was good, but I didn’t think her performance was spectacular - she just had a great part.
