Elisabeth Hasselbeck is a Hot Mom

Six months after giving birth to baby #2 Taylor Thomas, Elisabeth Hasselbeck (31) is beach ready.  An avid runner (former marathoner), she works out six days a week.  She eats a wheat free diet (she has celiac disease) and mostly eats protein and veggies.

  • she sure is!!

  • sigh. i wish i were that hot and i haven’t had kids. good for her.

  • Hey. Who doesn’t like to look good, I ask you? Don’t worry about answering, it’s a rhetorical question.

But then again, stop. Ms. Hasselbeck, hot? Isn’t there some understanding that a woman’s beauty comes from within and drags the exterior along with it–possibly kicking and screaming?

I’ve seen “The View” enough to tell you that she is the LEAST attractive of that group of women. Combative, disrespectful, she has little empathy for those with opposing viewpoints. So many issues present a litmus test for her. Stating her black-and-white thinking in this manner is letting her off easy because, as we remember from high school, litmus tests offer pink or blue results.

That a woman’s thighs should touch or even rub in a pleasant manner is no sin, folks. It’s intolerance and talking over one’s sisters and brothers that is a far more unattractive trait.

    Cheers.

  • It is shame she is has spent so much time perfecting her body, and denied herself the time to develop her cognitive and emotional compassion and gentleness towards the tolerance and diversity of others.

  • Oh my god ! good for her .

  • Oh my god ! good her

  • “I’ve seen “The View” enough to tell you that she is the LEAST attractive of that group of women. Combative, disrespectful, she has little empathy for those with opposing viewpoints.”

Are you perhaps confusing her with that shrill medusa known as Joy Behar? The one who

And Combative? She is the only one on that panel that even tilts to the right politically. Should she perhaps know her place and shut her mouth since she doesn’t agree with your politics? Good to see more tolerance and love coming from the left.

  • Oh and I almost forgot, congrats to Hasselbeck.

  • Rationalpsychic, I agree wholeheartedly with you. But, yes — she does LOOK good, especially for someone who just had a baby!

  • I don’t mind that she fights for her views. I think that she lacks a bit of style when it comes to fighting for them, that’s all. Joy Behar can certainly come close to her as a battler. But I do dig the “earth mother” vibe I get from her and am not as enamored of the blond look as many other American men are.

In my view, I just find that her opinions agree with those of the President much more than perhaps even those of George Will. As an example of the style of rhetoric I prefer, I’d point out that I get more enjoyment out of reading George Will than I do out of Cal Thomas. When I read a George Will column I don’t feel he believes readers who oppose his viewpoint are idiots. Cal Thomas often assumes a stance whereby intelligent people of conscience cannot disagree with him. George Will offers his best evidence and leaves the reader to wrestle with it.

  • “[I] am not as enamored of the blond look as many other American men are.”

Then take my compliments of her as all the more sincere since I definitely prefer brunettes.

“Joy Behar can certainly come close to her as a battler.”

I don’t know, joy seems way more hateful than Hasselbeck. When Democratic Senator Tim Johnson had his stroke Joy Behar was the one who alleged it was somehow manufactured by the Republican party; she compared Donald Rumsfeld to Hitler; and she stated that Catholic saints were merely mentally ill people who lacked the benefit of psychotropic drugs.

Yup, I am pretty confident that Behar is much more likely to think that you are a bad person for disagreeing with her than Mrs. Hasselbeck.

Also, your point about George Will and Cal Thomas is well taken. However, I’ve always been a Charles Krauthammer man myself.

  • And, you think Barb Walters, Joy and any of those other women on The View are respectful to those with opposing views? What non-sense. Elisabeth doesn’t let them get away with dismissing her views…and that makes them angry. They’re the ones (with a robotic brainless audience) that doesn’t tolerate “views” that are different than theirs.

  • Although I value your opinion DA, there are concerns with the way Elizabeth refuses to see other sides. Barbara and Joy do indeed have opinions, but they also show compassion towards oppossing views. Whereas, Elizabeth sees life one way, and her way is very white upper class. Her ideals fit only her reality. If you fall into her social class then she makes sense to you, but if you come from a diverse background she seems very one - sided and underdeveloped as a compassionate human being.

Also, why is so important to have a perfect body after having a baby - that isn’t real life? I have a full time career, family, hobbies that satisfy me as an individual, and having a perfect body is not one of them - being healthy emotionally, spiritually, culturally, socially are important, not a perfect body.

  • Thanks everyone for your comments, opinions, ideas, and insights.

Just want to make one comment about the body thing. It is not imperative to have a perfect body. Elisabeth is a devoted runner who has run the Boston Marathon, and we just respect her commitment to health and admire her athletic achievements. The pressure on women about their bodies is truly out of control, and that is not a something we intended to encourage.
