For people who think celebrity addiction is a true waste of time and but embrace it nonetheless.  For people who like trends, fashion, and make-up (but are not (wholly) superficial).  For ”Quarterlife Crisisers” (especially those caught off guard by it).  For girls who wore headbands in high school but in the subsequent years became a bit jaded.  For people who don’t wake up in a good mood but recognize the merits of being in one.  For people who love to read (but aren’t pretentious about it).  For those who love movies (especially art films).  For those who are bored at work.  For those who are bored in life.  For those who dream sometimes.  For friends.

    loving the book image woolfolk. can’t wait to read about the rest of your “favorite things.” totally agreeing so far, especially on smartwater. also, when I woke up sunday morning with dirt on my face and hay in my hair, it hit me: you must blog on Hatchechubbee.     elizabethlaney, I truly love reading your blog. Please keep up the great entries. One question, though. Is your blog’s server based in the Pakistan? I ask because all comments are shown to be made 9 hours ahead of Eastern Standard Time. For example, I’m making this entry at 10:40 a.m. EST. Just wondering… And thanks again for the great blog!

    I am interested in traditional link advertising as well as using link “blurbs” on certain pages of your site, or on certain articles. Perhaps even submitting articles. This includes but is not limited to purchasing a post also. We are open to any idea that would allow us to capture interested readers, but would prefer to avoid the traditional “Ads by Google” and “Sponsored Links” sections.

    One thing I’ve noticed in the past day or so is that now when you scroll to the bottom of the home page, there is no longer the option to hit a “next page” link to take you to the previous set of posts. Is it just me, or am I just not seeing this link now? Was I hallucinating, and this was never an option before?

    C-handler, wordpress is having a problem with that. Whenever you can’t click to the next page, just use the monthly archive function.

    Hi Elizabeth,

    I don’t know where to turn and I need your help for some grassroots advocacy. I run a small self-esteem blog and so I’m prone to noticing things in the media that help cause the self esteem issues of women and girls. And I’ve got a serious social issue with the way Perez Hilton bashes Rumer Willis on her looks. It has gone beyond entertainment. I was hoping you could draw attention to our campaign to stop this cruelty by sharing it with your readers.

    I want to start a grassroots campaign to get Perez Hilton to stop his assault on Rumer. I believe the self-esteem of our women and girls is in jeopardy. Go here to just make a quick comment of support, and maybe we can bring awareness to this issue of beauty and value.
